Structural Fire Engineering Consultant Allan Jowsey

Dr Jowsey is a Chartered Engineer (UK Engineering Council) with over 20 years of experience as a Fire Engineer (Fellow of the Institution of Fire Engineers) with his main area of expertise being Structural Fire Engineering. His experience covers development of fire strategies, simplified and advanced modelling approaches, passive fire protection, regulatory approvals, academic research, participation in international technical committees and standards development bodies in both the commercial infrastructure and oil and gas markets. He has extensive experience of advising architects, consulting engineers, contractors, PFP manufacturers and fabricators around the world on Fire Engineering solutions that meet the needs of their respective approval regulations.
